Clean up work

Administrative Records Management

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District

All records relating to restoration activities under the Air Force Environmental Restoration Program (ERP) and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), must be kept for at least 50 years after clean-up and remediation are complete. Documents range from final reports to meeting minutes and non-confidential records are made public through the Administrative Record (AR) hosted and maintained by the Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC). The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ AERC, in coordination with Air Force Remediation Project Managers, provided environmental support services by helping to review and digitize decades of data from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and remote sites under the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) Regional Support Center.
