Meet Rylee Doan, a lifelong Alaskan and our newest member of the College of Business and Public Policy’s staff! Rylee currently works in the Dean’s office full time as an administrative assistant and hopes to attend classes at the university next fall.
From having her art displayed locally in the Anchorage Museum to working in the medical industry, she has long been driven by the desire to support and inspire those around her.
Rylee has also studied Japanese for over a decade, both in academic settings and independently. In her free time, she continues to pursue her love of art, especially drawing and digital illustration, and has developed working knowledge of graphic design. “I like to think of passions and hobbies as foundational building blocks,” Rylee says. “Without things that drive us or things that inspire us, what stops us from just falling over?”
Her creativity, curiosity and commitment to growth make her a valuable part of the CBPP community.
