Computer Science and Engineering at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ

Robots, biometric security, autonomous cars, virtual reality and artificial intelligence are no longer just science fiction - they're part of our daily lives. Computers run all of these and more, ensuring a continuing high demand for Computer Systems Engineers and Computer Science professionals far into the future. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ's Computer Science degrees offer hands-on training through classes, research and project-specific student clubs and competitions.

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering covers key areas of computing, offering undergraduate majors the expertise essential to a burgeoning array of professional and technical careers in business, industry and government which require knowledge of computer hardware and software. Students can choose either a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science, or a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Engineering. The Department also offers minors in both Computer Science and Computer Systems Engineering, as well as courses for professionals in a variety of fields where knowledge of computer science is increasingly becoming a valuable tool.
