The Infant, Child, and Youth (ICY) Conference, formerly known as the IECMH Institute & CAFBH Conference, features renowned national speakers and Alaskan experts, with plenaries and workshops for professionals that work with infants, children, and youth of any age and their families. The 2026 ICY Conference will take place May 12 & 13, 2026.

Registration is open for the 2026 ICY Conference from May 12 & 13, 2026 at the Marriott Anchorage Downtown. ICY 2026 will feature three days of national speakers and Alaskan experts, with plenaries and workshops for professionals that work with infants, children, and youth of any age and their families.

With this conference, we hope professionals will find inspiration to connect, collaborate, and improve the continuity of care for families in Alaska.ICY attendees can earn up to 19.75 Behavioral Health CE credits, with approval pending through the NASW-AK chapter.

If you are attending ICY from outside the Anchorage area and need accommodations, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the room block available at the Marriot Anchorage Downtown. We have a negotiated rate of $219 plus tax per night for a room with one king size bed or a room with two double beds.

- Training Access Funds
To support our rural providers in Alaska, we are offering Training Access Funds to travel to Anchorage and attend the conference.
You are eligible to apply for training access funds if you:- are a professional working in a rural community in Alaska, AND
- work primarily with children, youth, and their families in the fields of behavioral health, infant mental health, early learning, social work, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or speech-language pathology.
The 2026 application period is closed.Training Access Funds are sponsored by the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Center for Human Development's Family Services Training Center, the Alaska Department of Health's Division of Behavioral Health, and the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority.
- Call for Proposals
We are seeking presenters who will provide engaging training sessions that provide current, relevant information related to working with infants, children, and families in Alaska. Presentations are being accepted for all levels of learners (fundamental to intermediate to advanced). There are no fees required to submit a proposal.
