Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµâ€™s School of Nursing is undergoing a two-year expansion project, with the Kodiak Outreach Site next on the list. Associate Professor Margie Mete has been charged with transitioning the site’s associate program to a bachelor's program.
Friday afternoon, she was on campus finishing a lab exam. Saturday morning, she was in Washington winning her second straight conference title. Medical Laboratory Science senior Caroline Kurgat is a cross country star, but you know what's more impressive? She only started running to earn her nursing degree.
Guided by feedback from industry leaders, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµâ€™s School of Nursing is working to expand the program’s statewide reach with increased faculty and more robust satellite campus programs.
At our Health Sciences Simulation Center, students from the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ School of Nursing get to practice and perfect their skills in a safe, supportive environment.
