Academic Program Review Deadlines
To find out if your program is due for a Program Review this year, please see the Academic Program Review website.
March 1
Programs submit Program Reviews to the dean.
April 1
Deans send Program Review responses to the programs.
7 days after receipt of dean's response
Programs complete optional program response section and submit completed form to OAA.
August 1
Provost sends final findings to program.
Program Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Reporting
To find out if your program is due for a Biennial Program Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Report this year, please see the Program Student Learning Outcomes Assessment website.
November 15
Programs submit Program Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Reports to the dean.
January 15
Deans submit feedback to the programs.

Curriculum, Assessment Plans, and Academic Policy Deadlines
These are deadlines for submission to Undergraduate Academic Board (UAB)/Graduate Academic Board (GAB)/Academic Assessment Committee (AAC). Please keep in mind that all appropriate department and college level approvals must be obtained before the below deadlines. The curriculum deadlines do not guarantee placement on the next Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ schedule and/or catalog, as this will depend on the workload of the different review bodies. For this reason, we encourage you to submit documents earlier than the final deadlines.
September 15
Course Changes for Fall Implementation - Due to the Undergraduate or Graduate Academic Board using the CIM system.
October 15
Deadline for items requiring Board of Regents approval for following fall implementation
New Program Proposals - See the New Program Proposal Protocol. Following formal dean and provost consultation, faculty-submitted new program documentation (catalog copy, sample plan, new or changed courses, assessment plan) must reach UAB or GAB in CIM by October 15, in order to be considered for implementation the next fall.
Academic Program Name Changes - Program name changes are rare. Consult with the Office of Academic Affairs on the process, which includes a memo that must reach UAB or GAB by October 15, in order to be considered for implementation the next fall.
January 15
All Other Course and Program Actions - Due to the Undergraduate or Graduate Academic Board using the CIM system.
Exceptions to the Inactivation List - Due to the Undergraduate or Graduate Academic Board using the CIM system.
February 15
Academic Policy Actions - Due to the Undergraduate Academic Board/Graduate Academic Board.
Contact the Office of Academic Affairs for guidance on the process and form.
April Faculty Senate Meeting
This is the final Faculty Senate meeting of the year for approval of curriculum and academic policy items from the Faculty Senate academic boards.

This deadline is for submission to Academic Affairs. Please keep in mind that all appropriate college level approvals must be obtained before the deadline. To allow time for follow up on any questions, units are encouraged to submit course fee requests earlier than the final deadline.
