Provost

As Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Denise K. Runge, Ph.D., provides leadership and direction for the broad academic mission of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ, to discover and disseminate knowledge through teaching, research, engagement and creative expression.

Provost Runge came to Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ in 2015 following 20 years as faculty, Dean, and Provost at institutions in Georgia, Mississippi, and Montana. At Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ, she has previously served as Dean of the Community & Technical College, as well as Assistant Director at the Prince William Sound College campus in Valdez.  Dr. Runge’s Ph.D. is in Political Science with a Public Policy and Administration concentration.
