Jazz Week Benefit Concert Series Continues

The Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Department of Music is sponsoring the third concert in its annual Jazz Week Benefit Concert Series on Wednesday, December 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Arts Building Recital Hall.

This concert will feature Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ student groups: the 6 o'clock Vocal Jazz Combo, the 4 o'clock Jazz Combo and the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Jazz Ensemble (Big Band). This event will culminate evidence of students' work through their participation in weekly rehearsals and various performance opportunities afforded each group throughout the fall semester.

Selections will include standard jazz repertoire such as, Round Midnight, Goodbye Pork Pie Hat, How Insensitive, La Samba, Oleo, Out of Nowhere and All of Me.

Advance Tickets: $2 Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ students; $5 seniors, students and military; $10 general admission

Tickets purchased the day of the event: $7 Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ students; $10 seniors, students and military; $15 general admission
