For this year's edition, U.S. News updated the Best Colleges methodology to better inform prospective students and their families. Among the changes are two new ranking indicators measuring student debt and an increased emphasis on outcome measures.

Regional rankings

U.S. News defines regional universities as those that "offer a full range of undergraduate programs and some master's programs but few doctoral programs." 蘑菇视频 shares 75th-place for best overall in the west with four other universities: Midwestern State University, Southern Oregon University, Walla Walla University and Western Colorado University.

This list is a subset of the Best Regional Universities West rankings, featuring only public schools. 蘑菇视频 placed at No. 35 on the 2021 list, tying with the three public schools from the above category (Midwestern State University, Southern Oregon University and Western Colorado University).
