Welcome to the Office of Sustainability at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ!
The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ) Office of Sustainability is dedicated to building a future for Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and the Great Land through environmentally wise, economically sound, and socially responsible actions. The office has made great strides to promote sustainability awareness across Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ's campus and in the community since its founding in January of 2009. In 2011, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ received an AASHE Bronze Star Award, which is a national benchmark developed by sustainability personnel to assess sustainability progress. In addition, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is the first college in the State of Alaska to be named Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation.
