Clinician Headshot Peter
Peter, Clinic Coordinator

My name is Peter (he/him), and I am a doctoral student in Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s Clinical-Community Psychology program. I was born and raised in Fairbanks and earned my B.A. in Psychology and Business Administration from Western Colorado University. I previously worked with adults and youth in the criminal justice system in rural Colorado and coached my alma mater’s ski/snowboard team for several years, both of which inspired me to pursue a career in mental health. I am incredibly grateful to return to Alaska for my graduate training and future career.

Throughout graduate training, I have worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings, providing individual, group, and couples therapy, as well as psychological assessment. I believe that mental health care has been inaccessible and stigmatized for too long and for too many people. As the PSC Clinic Coordinator, I hope to create a welcoming and accessible environment for people across Alaska to receive timely, compassionate care, and to help foster a supportive learning environment for our student-clinicians.
