Biography

Bekah Meyer is an Education Training Coordinator with the Alaska Center for Rural Health & Health Workforce at the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ where she primarily supports the upcoming generations of healthcare workers across the rural areas of Alaska such as AHEC Scholars and Pathways. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Northern Arizona University before relocating to Alaska in 2021.

Bekah is currently pursuing her Masters in dietetics and nutrition through Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ and is passionate about strengthening Alaska’s healthcare workforce through accessible, practical education and strength-based approaches; particularly in rural and underserved communities. She has a strong interest in nutrition, public health, and disaster response, with a focus on supporting first responders, healthcare professionals and frontline workers. Bekah is committed to improving health outcomes through education, collaboration, and community-centered approaches.
