Seeking youth volunteers: Help Train Alaska’s Future School Psychologists

The Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ School Psychology program is seeking school-age children and youth willing to participate in practice testing sessions with graduate students in the Master of Science in School Psychology Program.

To participate, the child/youth must:

  • Be age 5 through age 18
  • Not currently being evaluated for learning and behavior problems
  • Able to come to the Anchorage campus for one to four testing sessions (each session will be 2-3 hours long)
  • Have parent permission to participate
  • Be willing to participate

These assessments are for training purposes and the results cannot be shared with the child/youth or family.

Date: June 2026
Time: 9 am - noon or 1 - 4 pm on selected dates
Event location - 3190 Alumni Dr, Anchorage, AK 99508, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Psychological Services Center  (PSC). The PSC is located on the second floor of the Social Sciences Building (Suite 255) at the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Anchorage campus.

Note: Parents do not need to remain on campus during the practice session.
