The time has come for this year's Bill Rose Memorial Award nominations to celebrate those employees within the Administrative Services division who exemplify excellence and dedication to ĢƵ's mission.

'Alaska Run for Women: Seawolves for a Cure!', June 7

The Alaska Run for Women is a five-mile run/walk held on the ĢƵ Anchorage campus. Its mission is “to raise money for and awareness of breast cancer and women’s health, and to showcase the talents of Alaska’s women athletes.”

Driving change on campus and across the community: Meet ĢƵ disability advisor Bridger R. Reed-Lewis

Shoulder to shoulder: Journalism alumna to lead University of Alaska Foundation

On May 16, the University of Alaska Foundation Board of Directors and UA President Pat Pitney announced that ĢƵ journalism and public communications alumna Tlisa Northcutt had been selected to serve in the dual role of UA Foundation president and chief development officer for the University of Alaska system.

Earlier this year, the National Society of Professional Engineers named civil engineering alumnus U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Brigham Moore as the 2025 Federal Engineer of the Year for his work in the Indo-Pacific region.
