Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ colleges and programs welcome younger students to campus every summer for day camps. From engineering and culinary arts to real estate and media, there's a camp for every kid's interest. Take a look at this summer's offerings, organized by college and department.

College of Arts and Sciences

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s College of Arts and Sciences will offer camps throughout June for middle and high school students. Topics include creative writing, beginning Japanese, psychology, political science, dance, painting, forensic anthropology, chemistry and more.

Thanks to a partnership with ConocoPhillips Alaska, participating Title I schools will select eligible students to attend CAS's summer camps at no cost — with tuition, lunch and transportation fully covered.

Camps are now open for general registration. Learn more about CAS summer camps.

College of Business and Public Policy

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ's Weidner Center for Real Estate will host a free, three-day workshop for high school students in July. The annual event lets students explore career and educational opportunities in real estate management and learn how and why people invest in income-producing real estate. Learn more about the Real Estate Management and Investment Workshop.

College of Engineering

The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Summer Engineering Academies are a series of weeklong, hands-on educational day camps in Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley throughout the summer for students entering grades 3 through 12. With topics ranging from 3-D printing and robotics to artificial intelligence and coding, each academy is designed to encourage interest in and provide exposure to science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Application deadline is May 31. Learn more about CoEng's summer academies.

College of Health

The WWAMI School of Medical Education administers the Della Keats program, a four-week, residential program for high school students on the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Anchorage campus. Students experience university residential life, complete health science-related pre-college coursework, conduct health-related research projects, and complete at least four different medical or health care professional job shadows. This program is fully funded, including travel, food and accommodations. Learn more about the Della Keats program.

Community and Technical College
